I'm voting Democrat because...

This would be funny if it wasn't true!



I'M VOTING DEMOCRAT BECAUSE:

I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would. I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters. I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that paying $4.00 a gallon or more is no reason to drill for the mountain of oil we are sitting on in THIS country. We wouldn't want to have to move a couple of polar bears or elk now would we? I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq, I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people. I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it. I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I'm going to marry my TV. I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive. I'm voting Democrat because I don't want to be able to use my natural rights to protect myself or my family when I'm out running errands or in my own home. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that churches should only be allowed for political speeches. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that businesses should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the employees and the government. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that I don't want medical doctors who were at the top of their classes to operate on me. I want a government employee who makes $50K a year and couldn't hack it as a contractor or an engineer . I'm voting Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius. I'm voting Democrat because I REALLY believe there is no bias in the media.

Security

S-Psalm 30: 6-7 "When I felt secure, I said,"I will never be shaken." O LORD, when you favored me, you made my mountain stand firm; but when you hid your face, I was dismayed."

O- Security will make us feel invincible. ALL security comes from God.! We have to remember that our security comes from God, not ourselves. When we think it comes from us, it will be shattered.

A- My security was in the everyday routine, church, friendships. I became secure in them and not as much in the Lord. Now it has all been moved or shattered. I will remember my security comes ONLY from the LORD!

P- Lord,

Please help me to remember that all my security comes only from YOU! In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Strength

S- Psalm 29:11 "The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace."

O- God's powers are present thur out history. They are available to us just the same today. Out strength comes from God.

A- Lord I need Your strength to get help with the Waiting Times and Friendships. I will seek you more and more to have your strength to help me out.

P- Lord,

My prayer is for Your strength to help me in all areas of my life and right now with the Waiting Times and Friendships. I can do ALL things thur Christ who strengthens me. In Jesus' Name, Amen!!!

Friendships

S- Psalm 28: 3 "Do not drag me away with the wicked, with those who do evil, who speak cordially with their neighbors but harbor malice in their hearts."

O- I do not always befriend the right people. People will use you for advancement. Do not become like them in your actions or words.

A- I am not always right in choosing friends. I see their evil deeds. I do sometimes participate in this. I do not want to be associated with these actions or even words.

P- Lord,

Please help me to remember I do not have to conform to the way of those who I am around. I want to be the one who stands out and up for You. I know what you have called me to do. I take my Cross- Stand and do not waiver. Please forgive me for doing some of those evils. In Jesus' Name, Amen!!

Waiting Times

S- Psalm 27:14 "Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD."

O- I am in a waiting time right now. I will have many waiting times coming up with the Army. During these waiting times I ask for Refreshment, Renewal and Teachings.

A- During these times I will see the Lord even more for Refreshment, Renewal and Teachings.

P- Lord,

Please refresh me, renew me and teach me during these waiting times. In Jesus' Name, Amen!!

Faith Enough

7/18/08

S- Matthew 17: 20-21 "20He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

O- We felt like it was impossible for John to pick up E6 in the Marine Corps. We did not have faith enough that God could move that mountain.

A- Noe with the Army we are going to have faith enough to say move mountain of E6 and it will move and John will pick up E6 and E7, just like he was prophesied over.

P- Lord,

I pray that you will help us to remember to have faith enough for promotions, duty stations and having another baby! Remind us that with faith enough You can make everything possible! In Jesus' Name, Amen!!!

Clean Heart

S-Matthew 15: 19-20 "19For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20These are what make a man 'unclean'; but eating with unwashed hands does not make him 'unclean.' ""

O- Lord I have been apart of the thoughts! I wants a pure clean heart!!!

A- I will not be apart of these unclean thoughts ANYMORE! I will seek a pure clean heart full of your Holy Spirit.

P- Lord,

I ask for Your forgiveness for all these unclean thoughts and some unclean actions. I ask you to full my heart with the Holy Spirit and make it clean again! In Jesus' Name! Amen!!!
