Faith Enough

7/18/08

S- Matthew 17: 20-21 "20He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

O- We felt like it was impossible for John to pick up E6 in the Marine Corps. We did not have faith enough that God could move that mountain.

A- Noe with the Army we are going to have faith enough to say move mountain of E6 and it will move and John will pick up E6 and E7, just like he was prophesied over.

P- Lord,

I pray that you will help us to remember to have faith enough for promotions, duty stations and having another baby! Remind us that with faith enough You can make everything possible! In Jesus' Name, Amen!!!

Clean Heart

7/16/08

S-Matthew 15: 19-20 "19For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20These are what make a man 'unclean'; but eating with unwashed hands does not make him 'unclean.' ""

O- Lord I have been apart of the thoughts! I wants a pure clean heart!!!

A- I will not be apart of these unclean thoughts ANYMORE! I will seek a pure clean heart full of your Holy Spirit.

P- Lord,

I ask for Your forgiveness for all these unclean thoughts and some unclean actions. I ask you to full my heart with the Holy Spirit and make it clean again! In Jesus' Name! Amen!!!

Take your cross

7/11/08

S-Matthew 10:38 "Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it."

O- If we are not willing to stand in persecutions over Jesus and the Word then we are not worthy of Jesus. We will be put down, condemned and made fun of because of our belief in Jesus and the Word. We have to remember that id we hold our "Cross" (STAND) that we are worthy of Jesus.

A- I will gladly hold my cross for all the world to see. So Jesus can see I am worthy of Him.

P-Lord,

Help me to remember to be worthy of you. If I stand strong during persecutions. You will find me worthy. I will hold my cross for all the world to see. Amen!

Your faith has healed you.

7/10/08

S-Matthew 9:22 "Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that moment."

O- This woman had been bleeding and "unclean" for 12 years. She could not have done anything. She had faith enough to believe id she just touched the hem of Jesus cloak she would be healed.

A- In my life I have had struggles where my faith was strong enough to have me healed (infertility). I believe this is true in every area of your life. God can change things that seem impossible and make them possible.

P- Lord,

There are things that seem unchangeable. I have faith enough to believe that these can be healed thur you! You can change them!

Amen!

Sleep Well

7/4/08 "Sleep Well"
S-Psalm 3:5 "I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me."
O- David was running for his life. He was always looking over his shoulder. He gave his fears to God and he got sleep.
A- When I am in a crisis and I feel like I can not sleep for worrying. I will give my worries to the Lord and he will take them and I can sleep.
P- Lord,
Help me to realize that during crisis situations to give you my worries and fears. When I do that I will sleep and be rested to take the next day on. Amen!

Dewell in the Safety

7/5/08 "Dwell in the Safety"

S- Psalm 4:8 "I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety."

O- We can sleep in peace knowing that God has our protection. We pray for his protection and even when we do not he is still there to protect us.

A- I will continue to pray for God's protection. I know that he has me covered.

P- Lord,

I pray for your protection over all areas of my life. I know you have your child covered and I Thank You for that.

I am doing a Life Journal. I got the idea from a sermon I heard from one Prayer. What I do it take a scripture that I read that day and write what God has spoken to me.
